Be sure you understand the Colorado Sales Tax Rules of what is taxable and what is not. You can go through Colorado sales tax laws ‣
When creating an invoice, you need to look up the customer's address to obtain the Colorado Jurisdiction code to invoice properly. CLICK HERE FOR COLORADO SALES TAX LOOKUP
<aside> ⚠️ YOU MUST ENTER THE CUSTOMER'S ENTIRE ADDRESS TO GET THE CORRECT RATE (You can get a rate with a partial address, but it WON'T be correct.)
</aside>
You will take the Jurisdiction code here and match it to the ones in Dubsado see the images below. (Once we set up all the custom tax rates, you will see them in Dubsado.)
IF THE CODE IS NOT IN DUBSADO, SEND US A SCREENSHOT (LIKE THE ONE BELOW)
INSIDE THE CLIENT PORTAL, AND WE WILL ADD IT FOR YOU.
Once the code is added for you you will need to add it to your invoice in Dubsado.
When you apply the tax code it will apply it to ALL Lines then you will just go into each line and remove taxes where they should not be.
