Bastian Accounting Responsibilities:

We will reach out to you bi-monthly to confirm that you want a payroll run for either the mid-month or end of the month payroll via a task in Financial Cents. Approval of payroll means you want us to run the payroll ‘as-is’ and will have the funds in your business bank account.
Your bi-weekly payroll runs on a set schedule, so keep in mind that early approval does not mean funds will be delivered early. If you need money sooner, reach out to us about running an off-cycle payroll.
We will confirm total amounts once you approve the payroll of yourself and any employees and/or contractors you have on payroll, so you know exactly what to expect.
Whether it’s monthly, quarterly, or annually, we will handle all payroll tax-related filings on your company’s behalf so you don’t have to worry about it! If you receive any type of notice in the mail regarding payroll, please send it our way.
We can also handle running bonuses, off-cycle payrolls, and skipping a payroll cycle. Just reach out to your Accounting Specialist with any special requests!

Your responsibility:

You need to respond to payroll tasks on time. Remember, it will take 2 business days to receive funds from an off-cycle payroll, and a regular payroll will either be delivered around the 15th and/or last day of the month. If you approve a payroll late, it could delay in a late delivery of funds.
You need to provide employee and contractor hours, along with confirming the wage amount on their client's Google sheet tab for each payroll. If you have contractors who submit invoices, those will need to be uploaded to the portal for approval in a timely fashion.
You’re responsible for making sure the funds are available in the designated bank account. Bastian Accounting will never make bank transfers on your behalf.
